This rug was handwoven by Berber women artisans in the Azilal region of the High Atlas Mountains using traditional Amazigh weaving techniques preserved for generations.

Made from 100% natural sheep wool, the ivory base uses undyed wool while the colorful geometric motifs are individually hand-knotted using traditional dyes.

The central diamond motifs represent protection and femininity in Amazigh symbolism, while the surrounding tribal elements reflect identity and life stories woven by the artisan.
