This Azilal rug features a soft ivory natural wool base combined with a structured geometric pattern in beautiful shades of:

The design reads almost architectural — very modern while remaining deeply rooted in Amazigh weaving tradition.

Craftsmanship

This rug was handwoven in our own cooperative in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco using traditional wooden looms and ancestral Berber knotting techniques.

Made from 100% natural wool, the ivory lines come from undyed wool while the purple areas are carefully hand-dyed and woven knot by knot.

The grid composition is a contemporary interpretation of traditional Azilal symbolism, often representing structure, protection and balance.
